The course provides 200-hour YTT training, one Whitewater Center annual parking pass, a comprehensive training workbook, and access to yoga blocks, bolsters, and straps. It will prepare participants to instruct classes typically offered to the general adult population. The full program must be completed in order to receive the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification.

This training program is registered by Yoga Alliance and meets or exceeds Yoga Alliance standards. Students who complete this training will be eligible to register as RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance.

Dates:

Sessions include a 1.5 hour educational program and a water or land-based activity.  Morning and afternoon sessions are available.  Activity details will vary each week.  Parents/guardians will be informed of the activity prior to the session date.

HALF DAY KAYAKING

Half-day Youth Kayaking Sessions are an ideal way to help foster long-term paddler development. These weekday afternoon sessions are open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced youth paddlers. Participants will be placed in groups based on experience level and instruction will be tailored to each group. Beginners will focus on basic paddling skills and rolling while intermediate and advanced paddlers will focus on skill improvement and application.

Participants must be at least 4 foot 8 inches tall and can be up to 275 pounds.

Activity Notes: 
The duration of the Canopy Tour is approximately 3 - 4 hours. 

Reservation is required. The group has a maximum of 8 people at one time. 

Closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing required. 

All activities proceed rain or shine unless otherwise stated by Whitewater Center staff. In the event of adverse weather, some or all activities may be unavailable. Please check weather conditions prior to purchasing any activity pass.

Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Basic First Aid with CPR (Adult, Child, and Infant) and AED, which is valid for two years.

This course consists of an online class and in-class skills practice/evaluation. Online material must be completed three days prior to attending the in-class skills practice/evaluation at the Whitewater Center.

Tuck Fest Terrace Access includes a chef-inspired catered meal, private cash bar, indoor and outdoor seating, private bathrooms, and exclusive viewing areas for the dates purchased. 

Terrace Access Details:

  • Terrace Access opens 30 minutes before the first musical performance of each day, and ends after the final performance finishes.
  • Registration is not required for children 2 and under.
